School of Arts PXL-MAD will show work by 18 alumni in its prestigious exhibition space MAD Gallery from February 29 to March 29 2024 under the name 'Vloedlijn'.
The exhibition brings together more than 30 works by artists who received their training in the studios at Campus Elfde Linie. The result is a varied and impressive collection, carefully selected by Mieke Mels, curator at Mu.ZEE Ostend.
The title 'Vloedlijn' refers to that place on the beach where not only the most beautiful treasures are found, but where rubbish also washes ashore. The tide line reflects a world that is constantly in motion and in this way is also a metaphor for the career and work of these artists.
