The Wunderwall
The Wunderwall is the material representation of artworks collected in a mix & match manner. It’s a self-curated backdrop of small (or affordable) artworks by the hand of young and emerging artists in various media and styles. Gallerists Sofie Van de Velde & Jason Poirier dit Caulier started their art collection in their twenties. By collecting smaller (and therefore affordable) works from different artists, their collection became an eclectic mix of sizes and colours. Imagine paintings, drawings, photographs and editions hanging criss-cross on the wall. As we have noticed a growing group of collectors specifically looking for young and emerging artists, we have moved this format into our galleries, where we have devoted a space to a constant-changing Wunderwall. In our shared gallery space, we reserve the central wall for artists who are not (yet) bound to a gallery, to show their recent works. This Wunderwall project forms the common ground between emerging artists, who are looking for visibility, and young collectors, who are looking for new discoveries. -
Project Space
Since 2025, our Project Space has been dedicated to a dynamic program of exhibitions and events, offering additional perspectives alongside our main exhibitions. These projects create opportunities for encounters with our artists. As a flexible, multidisciplinary space at the heart of the gallery, the Project Space is shaped by dialogue, collaboration, and context. It allows us to present a diversity of initiatives — from focused solo presentations and interdisciplinary exchanges to highlights from the secondary market and collaborative projects. By doing so, we aim to support artistic development while ensuring long-term visibility. Our Project Space is equally committed to openness and accessibility: works can be placed on view upon request, creating a transparent and welcoming environment. Alongside contemporary art, we also regularly engage with works by modern masters — through exhibitions highlighting Warhol’s unique collages, offering insights into Duchamp’s oeuvre, or presenting Kandinsky in dialogue with Schmalzigaug — in collaboration with Henri Steenbeke. Many of our gallery artists are inspired by these figures. By placing them in dialogue with contemporary practices, we highlight how the past can be rediscovered and experienced within a contemporary art gallery today.Ultimately, the Project Space reflects our mission to connect artists with meaningful networks of collectors, curators, and institutions, while creating an environment in which new encounters and exchanges can flourisch — between artists, between artworks, and between art and its audience. -
