Jesus Christ is arguably the most frequently depicted figure in Western cultural history. No one knows what he truly looked like, yet everyone has an image of him in mind. The exhibition ‘Your own personal Jesus’ invites reflection on the role of religious visual culture in contemporary society through the work of Folkert de Jong, Arie Schippers and Martyna Marciniak.
Your own personal Jesus at 38CC forms a diptych with the exhibition Golgotha at the Oude Kerk in Delft.
