Vacancy: Artist Liaison & Sales (m/f/x)

Antwerp | Full-time | Minimum 5 years of experience in the art sector

We are currently looking for an experienced and content-driven Artist Liaison & Sales professional with a deep-rooted passion for contemporary art, someone who is not only professionally engaged, but personally connected to the field.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with artists, collectors, and institutions
  • Coordinate exhibitions, art fairs, and (inter)national collaborations
  • Translate artistic vision into sustainable commercial results
  • Actively monitor market trends, pricing, publications, and developments within the art world
  • Contribute strategically to the gallery program, artist visibility, and international positioning
  • Develop and maintain a personal client portfolio with clear sales objectives
  • Proactively follow up on leads and contacts via Artlogic, contributing to overall team sales targets
  • Act as a key point of contact for both artists and clients, with a strong focus on quality and consistency
  • Work efficiently within the team, respecting internal procedures, deadlines, and responsibilities

 

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a gallery, auction house, or art institution
  • Master’s degree in Art History, Cultural Studies, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of the contemporary art sector and an active professional network
  • Driven, analytical, and strategic thinker with a commercial mindset
  • Proven experience guiding clients from initial contact through to acquisition
  • Independent, responsible, and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic
