Eline Rausenberger b. 1944
° Antwerp, BE
Grew up in Antwerpn, Belgium.
Currently lives and works in France.
Raised in the artistic milieu of her parents, both respected artists, Eline Rausenberger did not to attend art school to preserve her unique style. Her vibrant paintings, filled with colourful figures and scenes, reflect her unassuming personality and unwavering integrity. Rausenberger's artistic journey began at the tender age of 5, and by 18, she had her exhibition in an Antwerp gallery. Her talent was recognized further when she won the first prize of the Flemish Painting Prize in Antwerp in 1971, followed by the silver medal of the European Painting Prize in 1976.
For Rausenberger, her artwork serves as a romanticized autobiography, each piece a reflection of her lived experiences. Her subjects are portrayed with such depth and richness that they defy mere interpretation; instead, they invite viewers to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere she creates. This immersive quality is Eline's unique strength, making her work an unforgettable experience for all who encounter it.
